Engagement
Limited-scope account review
Focused examination of selected balances — inventory, receivables, or related-party accounts — when a full statutory audit is not required.
Purpose
Boards and lenders sometimes need comfort on a handful of balances without commissioning a full statutory audit. This engagement tests the accounts you nominate and reports findings in a letter of findings rather than an audit opinion.
Scope you choose
Common selections include aged receivables, inventory valuation methods, cash and bank cut-off, or balances with related parties. We agree the exact population and sample method in writing before work starts.
Deliverable
A findings letter describing procedures performed, exceptions noted, and any proposed adjustments. This is not a substitute for a statutory auditor’s report.
